The Truth Project, Lesson 5: SCIENCE June 26, 2009

Last Sunday at Home Worship service, USF Koinonia went through Lesson 5 on Science in The Truth Project.  Through the presentation, we saw how the glory of God and the works of his hands are so plain to all humanity, but scientists disregard what clearly looks like design and order in the universe.

Afterwards, we had our discussion time outdoors at Julius Kahn playground, followed by a picnic lunch and a soccer game. 

ANNOUNCEMENT: USF Koinonia will not be holding Home Worship service in San Francisco on Sunday, July 5th, due to the upcoming Fourth of July camping trip this weekend.  If you are in the area, please contact Angell or Sean (they are joining SFSU Koinonia Home Worship service).

Fourth of July Camping Trip – USF Koinonia Guys off to the Great Outdoors! July 2, 2009

Saddle up your horses and load up your minivans!  The men of USF Koinonia are heading out to the Donner Lake / Lake Tahoe area for some “serious” camping, soaking in God’s creation and enjoying some sweet fellowship.  The departure time is set for Friday, July 3rd at 7am.  Check back next week for a recap of what we did and for pictures/videos we took!

Eight Hour Shift … LIVE concert @ Gracepoint Berkeley June 26, 2009

Mark your calendars!  On Friday, July 10th, we will NOT have MYT.  Instead,  Gracepoint Berkeley is hosting a live concert by Eight Hour Shift.  Last year, Pastor Jon Choi from Dallas, Texas (and friend of Pastor Ed Kang and Kelly Kang) visited our church to give a really spirited and funny message.  He also showcased his musical abilities.  Now, he is coming back with his band to bring us a heartfelt message as well as an awesome time of praise, performing their original material.

• Date: Friday, July 10
• Time: 7-9:30pm
• Location: First Presbyterian Church in Berkeley (rides provided … contact Wilson)
• Food: Eat beforehand … we’ll go out afterwards!
